Parental Controls

Restrict what children can see, hear, and access in AudioHaven.

Adding a child account

The household owner adds child accounts. On the household screen, tap "Add Child Profile." Enter a display name, a username, and a password for your child, and confirm they are 13 or older. Your child signs in with that username and password.

Approved library

A child doesn't see the whole catalog. An adult in the household approves each book or podcast the child can play, and only approved titles appear in the child's library.

Locked filters

Children can't change their own filters. An adult sets and locks the filters for each child account, so the right filtering is always on.

No browsing or Librarian

Child accounts don't have Browse, Search, or the Librarian. They can only play what an adult has approved, so they can't find and play content a parent hasn't checked. Any adult in the household can approve books and set a child's locked filters.
