Playback Issues

Audio won't play, keeps buffering, or stops unexpectedly.

Audio won't start

If tapping play doesn't start audio, check that your device isn't in silent mode and that the volume is turned up. AudioHaven uses the media audio channel, so make sure your media volume (not just ringer volume) is audible.

If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app. If you're on a weak network connection, the audio stream may be failing to load. Try switching to Wi-Fi or a stronger cellular signal.

Audio keeps buffering

Buffering is usually a network issue. Streaming needs a stable internet connection.

If you frequently experience buffering, consider downloading the audiobook for offline playback. Downloaded content plays from your device's storage with no network dependency.

Playback stops unexpectedly

If playback stops on its own, check whether a sleep timer is set. Tap Sleep on the Now Playing screen to see it or turn it off.

On iOS, if you have Low Power Mode enabled, the system may suspend background audio more aggressively. Try disabling Low Power Mode if you experience frequent playback interruptions.

Audio plays but no sound

Check that Bluetooth is not connected to a device you're not expecting (like a car or speaker in another room). Also verify your device is not in silent mode.

If using headphones, try unplugging and re-plugging them, or disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth headphones.
