Filter Credits
How filter credits work for uploading books, how many come with your plan, and how to get more.

What a filter credit is
Each filter credit filters one book you upload. Credits never expire.
If another listener has already uploaded the same edition, uploading your copy is free and doesn't use a credit. If you cancel an upload, the credit is refunded.
Credits included with your plan
Premium and Family include one filter credit each month, including during the free trial. Credits you don't use carry over to the next month.
On Family, the household shares one pool of credits.
Getting more credits
You can buy credits in packs of 1, 3, or 10 in the app. The price for each pack is shown before you buy.
Open Settings and tap "Filter credits", or tap "Get more filter credits" on a book you want to upload.
Seeing your credits
The Filter credits row in Settings shows how many credits you have available, for example "3 available." Tap it to see your balance and the packs.
Monthly upload limit
You can upload up to 10 books a month. When you're close to the limit, Settings shows how many uploads you've used this month.
