Plans, Pricing, and the Free Trial

The audiobook and podcast player is free. You can listen, build your library, download for offline listening, and sync your progress across devices.

You can set up your filters on a free account. They start skipping once you have Premium or the free trial. On iPhone, a free account can also try filtering once every 30 days, on a podcast episode or 30 minutes of an imported book we have filters for.

Premium is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year. It adds real-time filtering in all 9 categories, per-book filter overrides, word-level control, and the Librarian.

Family is $8.99 a month or $74.99 a year. It includes everything in Premium for up to 5 accounts in one household, plus child accounts with an approved library and locked filters.

Premium and Family include one filter credit each month, which you can use to upload a book you own for filtering. Unused credits carry over, and a Family household shares one pool. You can buy more credits in the app, and they never expire.

Premium and Family both start with a 14-day free trial. During the trial you get every feature of the plan. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged.

On iPhone, you subscribe in the app and pay through your Apple account. To cancel, use the Subscriptions page in your iPhone's Settings app. There are no long contracts, so you can cancel anytime.

The Android app is in open testing on Google Play, and in-app purchase isn't available on Android yet.
