What are filters?
Filters are your choices for what to skip during playback. AudioHaven has 9 filter categories: Profanity, Slur, Hate Speech, Blasphemy, Violence, Sexual Content, Romance, Crude Humor, and Substance Use.
Each category has its own on/off switch. When a category is on, segments tagged with it are skipped during playback.
Filtering is part of Premium. You can set your filters on a free account, and they apply once you start Premium or the free trial.
Setting your default filters
When you first use AudioHaven, onboarding walks you through choosing your filters. You can change them anytime. On iPhone, go to Settings, then Manage Default Filters. On Android, go to Settings, then Default Filters.
Your defaults apply to every title unless you change the filters for a specific book or episode.

Severity levels
Each category is rated at three levels: Mild, Moderate, and Severe. Each level has its own switch, so you choose exactly which levels to skip instead of picking a single threshold.
For example, under Violence you could leave Mild and Moderate off so minor conflict plays through, and keep Severe on so graphic scenes are skipped.
Word-level control
The language categories (Profanity, Slur, and Blasphemy) also list individual words. Open a category to turn single words on or off. On iPhone, Select All and Deselect All change the whole list at once. On Android, the buttons are All On and All Off.
